Newcastle Jets captain Jade North says he expects team-mate James Holland will be fit to play in Sunday's A-League grand final against Central Coast.
The 18-year-old midfielder pulled out of training yesterday with a thigh strain.
North says Holland's age could help him recover in time for the clash at the Sydney Football Stadium.
"He's young, he'll bounce back, he'll be ready to go," he said.
"Everyone else is fine, just had a light week and everyone's just looking forward to the occasion."
The Mariners humbled the Jets 3-0 when the teams met in the second leg of the major semi-final two weeks ago and North says his side is eager for revenge.
"We got a little bit of a touch-up at Central Coast but the good thing is we get to have another go," he said.
"The boys are buzzing and can't wait for the occasion and certainly there's going to be a great atmosphere."
